We are Marie’s Marchers- a big loud family group of around 30-adults & kids!
We have been walking since 2015, walking to celebrate and commemorate our nan/mum Marie Reece.
Marie was and still is a very much loved Mum, nan & grandma (great grandma) to a huge family and after her diagnosis of a glioblastoma in emergency August 2014- we were blessed with 7 sad but beautiful weeks with her in palliative care.
The first anniversary was spent together as a family at the 24hour fight against cancer 2015… one year to the date of her passing.
We wear blue aprons to represent Marie’s love of baking! And our love of tasting!
Chocolate boiled cake a stand out specialty!
This is our new family tradition that we look forward to being together, sharing stories, laughing and fundraising for the many families in our community who we know benefit greatly for this amazing cause!
All money raised stays in Macarthur – Totally Volunteer Committee – Expenses covered by Local Businesses and Service Clubs
In honour & memory of your beautiful mum, loved ones lost & those still fighting against cancer. Thank you for doing this for such a worthy cause. Love Sarah & family xxx
