Kath has been living with, and fighting against cancer, for about 22 years. Kath has always supported the 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur and the last time we participated (prior to covid) Kath expressed the desire for us to have our own team.  So, this year, Kath has her own team.
On the 31st October, Kath will celebrate her 74th birthday and she will be 27,029 days old.
Our fundraising goal is to raise $2,702.90* to celebrate each and every day of Kath!
Our team is encouraged to walk 27029 steps on a least one day in October.
*I had to select either 2702 or 2703 – I went with the latter as the maths nerd in me would not let me round down incorrectly.
The 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur is an annual  fundraising movement that exists to provide the Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre, the Oncology Ward and the Paediatric Ambulatory Care Unit at Campbelltown Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit and associated Outreach service at Camden Hospital with the extra services and equipment they need to assist in the treatment, care and comfort of children and adults dealing with cancer.
All money raised stays in Macarthur – Totally Volunteer Committee – Expenses covered by Local Businesses and Service Clubs
