Hey all,
I will be raising money as a part of the DawnBreakers team again this year – I’ve been doing this now since 2013 (Covid restrictions permitting). We complete an early morning walk from Camden Hospital to Leumeah Sports Stadium – around a 20km walk that earns me some quality blisters, but that’s nothing compare to the battles fought with cancer.
Our team is a part of the 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur, an annual fundraising movement that exists to provide the Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre, the Oncology Ward and the Paediatric Ambulatory Care Unit at Campbelltown Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit and associated Outreach service at Camden Hospital with the extra services and equipment they need to assist in the treatment, care and comfort of children and adults dealing with cancer.
All money raised stays in Macarthur – Totally Volunteer Committee – Expenses covered by Local Businesses and Service Clubs.
