In loving memory of Rachel Neville 23/08/1978 – 14/08/2019
Team Simple was created in 2017. Rachel was diagnosed with breast cancer in December 2016 and she set up this team to help raise much needed funds in support of her amazing doctors and nurses who cared for her during her cancer battle. Her mantra was “Simple Made Complicated” due to her often difficult and complicated treatment, hence the reason her team name is Team Simple. Rachel’s family and friends will continue to support her favourite charity in her honour, and for those who have lost the battle, those who are fighting the battle and survivors who beat it !!
The 24 Hour Fight Against Cancer Macarthur is an annual fundraising movement that exists to provide the Macarthur Cancer Therapy Centre, the Oncology Ward and the Paediatric Ambulatory Care Unit at Campbelltown Hospital and the Palliative Care Unit and associated Outreach service at Camden Hospital with the extra services and equipment they need to assist in the treatment, care and comfort of children and adults dealing with cancer.
All money raised stays in Macarthur – Totally Volunteer Committee – Expenses covered by Local Businesses and Service Clubs
